Sharp's exemplary commitment and dedication to energy efficiency and the ENERGY STAR® program was demonstrated through its more than 154 ENERGY STAR qualified models across seven product lines in 2012. Sharp was also commended for having the biggest share of large screen televisions recognized as ENERGY STAR's Most Efficient 2012.

MAHWAH, NJ, July 18, 2013 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, introduced the new MX-4140N, MX-4141N, MX-5140N and MX-5141N color workgroup document systems offering speeds of 41ppm and 51ppm. These enhanced performance models offer new features, such as true Adobe® PostScript® printing, Compact PDF color scanning and wireless networking. These models will also offer Sharp Cloud Portal Office, a new cloud storage service that enables businesses to collaborate and share documents and resources seamlessly throughout their organization. For color critical environments, the MX-4140N, MX-4141N, MX-5140N and MX-5141N will also offer standard PANTONE® Licensing for businesses that utilize the PANTONE Matching System.

MAHWAH, NJ, July 23, 2013 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has earned two top “Picks” from Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI), the world’s leading independent evaluator of document imaging products and solutions. BLI’s semi-annual “Pick” awards are given to the hardware and software offerings judged to be the best in BLI’s comprehensive evaluations, which assess a wide range of the most important performance factors for buyers. Sharp was honored in the higher-end color and monochrome spaces for the 70-ppm Sharp MX-7040N and the 90-ppm Sharp MX-M904, respectively.

MAHWAH, NJ, September 6, 2013 -- Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation recently received an award from the State of Arizona for Multi-Functional Devices. The contract, which became effective July 1, 2013, will be available to all State of Arizona departments, and agencies, as well as eligible universities, political subdivisions and nonprofit educational institutions.

The contract includes purchase, lease and rental options for Sharp’s full line of copiers. Awarded categories include Class 1 Black and White Convenience Copiers with available speeds from 20 to 90 Pages Per Minute (PPM), Class 2 Hybrid Convenience Copiers (Color) with speeds from 26 to 70 PPM, and Class 3 Black and White Production with speeds of 105 and 120 PPM.
